On January 20, 2015, Bruce Carlson presented oral argument on behalf of a certified class of residential mortgage borrowers before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in Philadelphia. The case arrived in the Third Circuit after PNC Bank filed a Rule 23(f) appeal asking the appeals court to reverse an order certifying the Class which was entered by Judge Schwab in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania in the summer of 2013.
